Beexquisite are one of our relatively new clients who came to us as they felt their website was underperforming and could do with a significant boost of dedicated and relevant traffic to their website. We sat down with the owners and identified some key areas where their website could be improved and optimized.

It was decided to add more pages about each one of the treatments they offer and improve the text and links on the website, to not only bring better search results but to bring more sales by making their pricing and treatment information easier to find.

The process that went into optimising the Beexquisite website for the search engines

Specnet started the Search Engine Optimization of the Beexquisite website by coming up with Beexquisite's own SEO site guidelines. These guidelines mean that we know which kind of results we are after in the long term to bring the maximum return on investment we can for the Beexquisite company.We decided as they are a Leicester based beauty salon that only traffic in the Leicester area of the UK would be beneficial to their business. Using this SEO guideline we looked into the treatments in the Leicester search results and found that the Beexquisite website was not returning for any Crystal Clear Oxygen Therapy Facial treatments searches in Leicester. Specnet then looked at the traffic for this term using tools that tell us how many people are searching for this treatment in a month, these results made it clear that the Beexquisite website needed to start returning for this treatment in Leicestershire search results.

But why did you chose to go for such a long term?

Well the answer is simple the treatment we are after the client to rank for was Crystal Clear Oxygen Therapy Facial and our client is only interested in clients from Leicestershire, following the SEO guidelines we had all ready established for Beexquisite's SEO programme. This means that any other contacts they get from outside of Leicestershire is not going to do their business any good and thus would not do their website any good to be returned in those results.

How did you come up with the page for their website?

Specnet then came up with some rough text about the treatment which Beexquisite then tailored to their business and we then optimized the resulting text for the search engines. This allowed the text to be the perfect balance of representing the business, what the user and the search engines where expecting. While Beexquiste where confirming the text Specnet produced the page and made sure the coding was search engine and user friendly. As soon as Beexquisite where happy Specnet placed the new page live on the Beexquisite web site and placed links to it via a drop down menu and on the treatments page. We then let the search engines know it was there and waited for them to come and pick the page up.

So what was the result?

It took just 1 week for the search engines to index the page and return it to page 1 for over 6 different key terms not just the one we where aiming for.

So how did it perform for the term Crystal Clear Oxygen Therapy Facial in Leicestershire?

Not only did we achieve what we set out to do but also got the first and second result for the main term as well.

The page we created was also returned on Page 1 for the following secondary terms as we optimised the page for how the search engines where wanting the text and other content to appear:

Over time as we work on more terms, and as Specnet are committed to ethical Search Engine Optimization practises, that is working with the search engines and not against them by cheating the system, Beexquisite will hopefully be returned higher up page 1 for the secondary key terms as well as it aquires more ranking factors such as trust!
