Specnet's QR Code

What is it?

This is a 2 dimensional barcode that contains alphanumeric text. Within this barcode is my company address, web address and contact details.

Why use it?

These QR codes can be read by any smart phone with a QR reader. With my phone I can scan in the image and the information is stored in my address book.

How useful could QR Codes be to you?

We are now adding QR codes to websites & email signatures. They can also be added to bill boards, product packaging, magazines, theatre programmes and I’ve seen them used on TV adverts.

This technology has been big in Japan for over 10 years and we expect QR codes to become prevalent in the public arena over here. Do you know anyone who can make use of them?
