In December 2010 I made the bold decision to join a business networking group. The one I chose was the Women In Business Leicester North group, read on to find out more about the group.
Why did I choose the women in business group?
I don't think I did I think it chose me to be truthful.
By nature I'm not a natural networker and am much happier behind the scenes doing the work. But this year we would like to see our family business grow and move on. Therefore part of our business development strategy is to network with other businesses and to let the world know we exist.
I was invited to the women in business Leicester North group by Ginny Atherton of Precept Optimum Performance in November 2010. Although very nervous at my first meeting I found the Women of Leicester in this group very welcoming and friendly.
This group of business women have given me an environment to learn presentation skills, networking skills and have got me from behind my desk.
With guidance from Barbara Hodgson the groups organisor, I have found my feet and am putting in place an action plan to enable me to optimise my time when networking with other women in business.
Through a structured meeting Women In Business Leicester North provide opportunities for business collaborations in a supportive and professional environment. Member's share and exchange business ideas which help to develop and grow their business.

Well done ladies we've achieved our goal and more in only 1 week, what a fantastic search engine experiment this is. From our SEO work and your traffic we have 4 key phrases on page 1 of Google. These also translate on to the other search engines Yahoo, Ask, Bing, Lycos and MSN.
Over the remaining 3 weeks we will keep up SEO work and hopefully see these positions rise. Watch this blog for next weeks for more SEO results.
