Our business was growing at a healthy rate - however we recognised the need to stay one step ahead of our competitors and we
knew that a fully operational web site displaying our extensive range of Used and New salon furniture would enable us to acheive
our goal.
Our problem was we didnt know where to start and we had limited funds available. Following various meetings with web designers we were baffled by jargon and cost implications. We came across Specnet and after our initial meeting with Rob we could see a clear way forward. We found Rob and Amanda both enthusiastic and passionate about developing a user friendly and easy to access web site - it was as if they worked for us, they got to know everything about our business, this was not a quick meeting to design a standard web site - we found that as the web site developed so did our joint ideas, week upon week, we were constantly changing things - nothing was too much trouble - in fact completely the opposite - they were keen to develop and change the site as much as we were. In our first operational two months we have taken 7,000 hits to our site - feedback from our customers has been so positive, we now have customers buying items after viewing them on the web site without the need to visit us - something we never thought was possible bearing in mind - particularily on our second hand goods. Our investment has already paid for itself - we couldnt have reached this point without the patience and determination from Amanda who has been as passionate as us to make our web site the best in our industry sector. Being a small service business the majority of my sales come from the local community. I had considered getting a website for
