The design process that went into the Cheap Work Boots web site

Cheap Work Boots is a brand new website launched in November 2010. As its domain name suggest the aim of this website is to sell cheap work boots online. The boots and shoes for sale on this website are not only cheap but are also good quality and highly suitable for the job they are designed for.

Cheap Work Boots website is written in PHP using the Joomla platform. Specnet have created a bespoke Joomla template and customised the virtue mart shopping experience to ensure an attractive and useable website.

The secure payment portal used for this website is Barclays ePDQ, which we found to be a challenging task. However, Specnet rose to the challenge and can now say with confidence that we are experts at incorporating the Barclays ePDQ system into eCommerce websites.

Specnet provided Joomla training to the staff of Cheap Work Boots, who are now capable of keeping the contents of both the virtue mart store and Joomla Content Managed Pages up to date and relevant to the changes within their business.

Specnet are currently working on Joomla SEO (search engine optimisation) to ensure that the site gets top ranking with Google. At present it is Ranked 1 with Google for their most important key phrase "Cheap Work Boots" and work is ongoing on many other key phrases.

The future development will see this website partake in social media creating FaceBook, YouTube and Twitter accounts to ensure that as many people are aware that the site exists. This is an area that Specnet will be managing to ensure optimum procedures are put in place to drive more traffic to the website and convert a high proportion of the traffic to sales.
