The design process that went into the Kims Crafts website

Kim's Crafts is a retail outlet that supplies crafting materials for all types of crafts. In addition they host a number of thriving craft clubs and provide regular craft demonstrations.

Kims Crafts engaged Specnet to develop a new Joomla eCommerce website. By strong demand of their clients a website has been designed that will allow the numerous members of their craft clubs to buy their craft supplies online.

The website is written in PHP making use of Joomla and virtue mart. A bespoke Joomla template has been designed for Kim's Crafts to incorporate their branding and their client base. A bespoke event component has also been written by Specnet which enables then to enter craft workshop dates and craft demonstration dates into a database, from which the information is desseminated across a number of pages automatically by date order.

This website was launched on 24/12/10 and is very much in its infancy. Specnet will continue to work with the website to ensure that it registered with Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask and Lycos, ensuring that Kim's most important key phrases find their way to page 1 of Google.
